The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.
I found the room to be quite basic despite its size, with a tiny TV and minimal decor, which was disappointing for the price I paid. The noise from the hallway made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the parking arrangement was frustrating. I was charged €16 to park in a crowded, tight spot across the street.

7/10
Mateus at the reception was just a peach—helped us lug our bags up six flights of stairs and even gave us a map to find our way 'round Porto. It's a real shame 'bout those stairs 'cause my knee ain't what it used to be. They were sweet as pie when we asked for a refund and helped carry our bags back down, though. Real hospitable folks.

Decanting Porto House surprised me with its warm hospitality. I loved being greeted with a glass of port upon arrival. it added a nice personal touch. The breakfast each morning was delightful, featuring fresh, homemade croissants and quality coffee. My room was clean and offered a cozy atmosphere, though I noticed a small TV that felt out of place in a spacious room. Unfortunately, the noise from the hallway disrupted my sleep occasionally, making the experience feel less restful compared to how welcome I felt. Also, the bathroom could use more privacy as walls felt thin. The location was ideal, close to Bolhão station, making it easy to navigate the city. I wish the parking situation was clearer. it’s across the street and felt a bit congested. Overall, a lovely stay with fantastic staff, but some elements could be improved for a more relaxing experience.

We were welcomed with a glass of port which was such a nice touch right after our travels the room was super clean and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. One morning we enjoyed a breakfast spread with homemade croissants that melted in your mouth very nice hospitality from everyone really made our stay nice.
It wasn’t cheap but the experience was acceptable, felt justified.

The Double Room was decent and clean, which was nice. The location in the city center is super convenient—so many things to do nearby. However, it was pretty noisy at night, with people chatting in the hallway and stuff. I wish the walls were thicker or something.
